  • Maintain accurate treatment records in line with professional and insurance standards

  • Ensure the safe and appropriate delivery of Reiki and related services

  • Website form submissions are stored securely via email and are only accessible by the practitioner (Suzanne).

  • Personal data collected in person is stored securely, either in locked physical storage or on password-protected systems, in accordance with UK data protection laws and professional guidelines.

 

4. How Long We Keep Your Information

  • Treatment records for adults are retained for a minimum of seven years from the date of the last treatment.

  • For clients under 18, records may be retained until the individual turns 25, or 26 if they were 17 at the time of their last treatment, to comply with safeguarding and legal obligations.

After these time periods, all records will be securely deleted or destroyed.

 

5. Your Rights

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you

  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data

  • Request deletion of your personal data (unless legally required to retain it)
